About SideTracked
We have Motorway Mayhem. We have A-Road Anarchy and even Village Vexation. Now a series for public transport users! SideTracked Caches are intended to provide quick cache-and-dashes at train stations.
About Whitlock's End station
This is the station for Dicken's Heath - the only 'village' I know that needed a bypass before it was even finished! Sorry if you live there but it's a dreadful place to drive through. The station's not too bad though as stations go! And there's lots of parking there too.
About the Cache
Now a plastic tube hanging? from a cable tie by a post. Please make sure it is hidden under the wooden bar when leaving .
While you're in such convivial surroundings why not make a day of it? Visit on a Saturday and watch Shirley Town play. Go for a meal at the little Italian Restaurant up the road or explore the Stratford-on-Avon canal with its famous 'drawbridge'. Sample the ales at the nearby pub of the same name.
