This cache is located on the grounds of the Boone County Fairgrounds. The Boone County Fairgrounds occupy approximately 70 acres on the south side of the City of Lebanon , the county seat. The fairgrounds are conveniently located off exit 138 on Interstate 65 and are visible from the Interstate. We are proud of our Fair Grounds, and thought you would enjoy a visit here.
The cache is at the East end of the fairgrounds, near the location of the Horse Arena. The Horse Arena is home to equestrian events during the fair, and at various other times during the year. The cache is fairly small, with room for a log and a couple of small trade items. It should be a relatively easy find, and it we have started it by including “Matthew’s No Name travel bug, which we picked-up in Florida. We didn’t realized when we picked it up, that it had just came from Indiana, so it has just completed a circle at this point.
