Geocache Description:

A few loooooong time residents may remember that there once was a sawmill on this location. You can't tell it today, there are houses and businesses everywhere.

As near as I can tell this sawmill was closed in the early 70's, which actually makes my memory of it one of my earliest memories. It used to be exciting to go there. No pavement or even gravel in the lot, just dirt or mud. That would not be allowed today! I recently learned that at least in King George, if you have parking for more than 7 vehicles, your lot must be paved. We got to see the big saw at work, just not "too close". But, I'm sure much much closer than any on lookers would be allowed today. Actually, I was wondering where you would even find a sawmill today if you wanted to?
Anyway, just a bit of history to share with everyone. How things have changed. Be sure to include in your post if you remember this place.
