Beginner’s Luck Mystery Cache

No GPS Needed - Only Geo-sense. The coordinates above are for the parking lot. Colgate Park is another nice little area in University Place. It use to hold a cache that is now archived. (GCHP55 No Toothpaste Here II)

In memory of my very first find, "so long" ago, I have placed this cache. The rub is I did not have a GPS yet and only used a map and compass. (Actually, the compass was not used but it goes with the "map" part.) Not sure how I found the original one, really—call it beginners luck!

So, if you want to hunt this cache you will need the map below, that and good hint. However:

The coordinates for the cache are N 47° 13.533 W 122° 32.913. I include them just in case you need a crutch. However, it is my hope that folks would use only the map. If not, at least you are spending some time manually inputting the coordinates.

Hint: Just off the trail next to a big, “green” tree. The container is 6x4 Snapware.
