blueboots: Sorry to say that after almost 15 years this cache has gone missing. We have considered replacing it but due to it's location we have decided to archive the cache instead. Geocache Description:

PLUM PUDDING

You are looking for a plastic container (the ammo can gave up in the end) hidden in an area we have enjoyed for many years. We hope you take the time to explore this SSSI site which is rich in chalk grassland plants; rare mosses and lichens; butterflies, including the rare Silver spotted Skipper; and Green Woodpeckers.
There is parking available at N51 05.485 W001 34.311 where you will see the millennium stones at the start of two paths. The walk from here is quite steep and it is possible to push a buggy along this part of the route but there are parts of this walk where a buggy would definitely not be advisable. This is an area enjoyed by dog walkers so take care. Sheep do graze on the slopes of the Down for which warning notices are usually posted requesting dogs be kept on a leash. Please be respectful of this site., remember to close gates.
Please take care as some paths are steep and can be very slippery depending on weather conditions.

This reserve has a round barrow known as ‘plum pudding’ hence the name of this cache. It can be found north west of the cache. Do take the time to sit and enjoy the views……a picnic and a kite would be excellent additions.
