Geocache Description:

The cache location is across from an old little known cemetery on Old Mission Peninsula. The cache is a regular size lock n lock container with a few trade Items.

The Greek word Yia Yia means Grandmother in english. Recently two close friends (Knicknames Woo Woo and Lou Lou) lost their Grandmother at the ripe old age of 95. I'm immpressed on how even though they lived some distance apart my friends still made the effort to visit their grandmother when they could. At the same time as I was touched with their loss I realized that my Grandparents where gone before I grew up and I missed out on doing things and creating memories with my Grandparents. This was the inspiration for this cache, so if you still have a Grandmother, get your Yia Yia's out or stop in for a visit. Better yet why not take them Geocaching!

I'm sure that someone's Grandmother is buried there and please respect this area as if your own Yia Yia was buried there.
