We decided it was time to start exploring the ACORN trail, a relatively new system of hiking/biking trails around Rolla. There's a trail map here.
The Rolla community currently has over 8 miles of bike trails, with plans to expand the system to nearly 11 miles, which will connect 9 of the city's parks. The system is called the ACORN trail, named after A Community Organization to Restore Nature (ACORN). It looks like there should be plenty of spots available to hide caches!
