Geocache Description:

Easy stop by for a view and a cache. Easy drive down as long as the tide isn't to high.

The cache is a small plastic container. The cache is located at a very beautiful location. This area is scheduled for a salt marsh restoration within the next couple of years. Stop by often to check out the progress. The process should start in the late spring, or summer.

I come down here often early in the morning to see the wildlife. There are often deer grazing on the far side. There are often Raccoons down by the water. I recently saw a Fisher Cat cross the road. This is a migratory stop over for numerous feathered friends. This year I have seen a King Fisher, Osprey, Egrets, Blue Herons, Mallards, Canadian Geese, etc.

As I said, come for the views, log the cache while you're there. Keep your eyes open, and approach quietly. When the tide is high, you may have difficulty on the approach. Best approach is from the north. The road south of the cache gets very deep!
