Minnie's Many
Minis and Her Brood
Having been bitten and mauled by Minnie (Minnie's Many
Minis-GCWAEQ ), we felt it was appropriate to return the favor
using one of her offspring. The cache is in a part of the South
Mountain Reservation close to an open field. Like the Cache that
begat it, or perhaps more appropriately "becat" it, it is a short
distance from the suggested parking to the cache site. See Waypoint
Below.
Unlike it's Mother, it's a small cache rather
than a nano, and is in plain sight. The camouflaged cache measures
5 X 5 X 5 inches and contains a log, pencil and various geotrinkets
provided by its Mom.
The Cache cannot be moved
from its hiding place. Please carefully open
it in place and reclose it securely before leaving.
Please do not include
photos of the cache in your log.
12/13/2007 - Fluffy, our "Ragdoll"
kitten, managed to find her way through a 2 foot hole in a cinder
block basement wall approximately 6 feet off the ground. She
apparently had scaled storage shelving and plastic crates to begin
her odyssey. When we finally found her at two in the morning, she
was stuck in the space between the outer and inner walls of the
foundation, approximately 7 feet down! The next hour or so was
spent constructing a towel covered bridge/ramp made from 2 brooms,
a mop, my old crutches and parts of an ironing board......after she
scampered to safety and while I was nailing screening to the
aforementioned hole....we wondered if we would have ever found her
without our finely honed Geocaching skills....Happy Holidays from
Fluffy and us!
