This is State #12 North Carolina in the 50 State Geocache Series.

I picked North Carolina because I have Lived there and have gone back twice to visit.
This area along the river reminds me of North Carolina.
I attended the 2005 US Golf Open in Pinehurst NC.
Even better I attended Geowoodstock #5 near Raleigh NC.
If I didn't live in New Hampshire I would be in North Carolina.
The cache is on an easy trail very close to the road.
Please pull all of the way off of the road.
Or if you are daring drive right up to the cache.
