Remembering Mennon Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

TheVogonPoet: Hi,

This cache has been in need of maintenance for an extended period of time. Due to the lack of response toward the needed maintenance since my last contact, I am archiving the cache. If you do happen to complete the maintenance required and wish to activate the cache again just let me know and I will consider unarchiving it once the issue is resolved.

Thanks!

Geocache Description:

Mennon, Saskatchewan is a small town of four houses in central Saskatchewan. At one time the town was much larger than Saskatoon, however, it dropped in population when the railroad pulled out to go to other settlements.

The town is now a shadow of what it once was consisting of four houses and a small, one room schoolhouse. The schoolhouse is allegedly haunted by former members of the town and residents over the years have reported strange sightings there. That being said, the schoolhouse is still fairly solid and there is still an old chalkboard on the wall.

This cache initially contains the following items:
• Yellow foam ball with sunglasses on
• Yellow foam ball with constipated face
• Red santa foam ball
• Habitat for Humanity Saskatchewan bracelet
• Pulping thermometer
• Package of bungee cords
• Retracting tape measure
• Irregularly shaped deck of playing cards
