In order to find the final Griggs Green cache you will need to count the number of pub legs on the route between here and the designated Griggs Green parking area; a majority of the pubs are along the route of the old A3.
You will also need to collect a Northing co-ordinate from this cache when you find it which will lead you to the first stage of the Griggs Green cache.
For those uninitiated amongst you a pub leg is the unit of measure used to score runs in the game of Car or Pub Cricket. As those of you that have played before will know the number of "runs scored" or legs counted can be a subject of furious debate so count and think carefully if you are to find the final cache in the series.
For the sake of clarity and your sanity count the number of legs in the name of each pub, not the number shown on the pub sign. Again for the sake of clarity, don't reset your score if a pub name has no legs.

The co-ordinates given above are for the sign post in the first clue in a car park.
Stage One

Follow the Sussex Border Path to a signpost at
N 51 01 . (B - C)(B + D)(A - B) + C)
W 0 52 . (D - C)(B + C + C)(A - C - D)
Stage Two
E = Number of letter P on the signpost
F = Number of letter F on the signpost
Keep following the border path to
N 51 00 . (A + E) A (C - F)

Stage Three
There is a fantastic view of the Downs from here. Consider the following
Number of letters in the longer of the two words repeated on the signpost – 1 = G
Number of letters in the shorter of the two words repeated on the signpost / 2 = H
Shortly after leaving the bench you should leave the border path and head for

Where you will find the first micro container which contains the co-ordinates of Stage Four.
Stage Four
Go to the co-ordinates found in the first micro and you should be standing near the name of a dwelling
Number of letters H in the name = X
Number of letters M in the name = Y
Number of letters O in the name = Z
The second micro can be found at

The second micro contains the co-ordinates of the third and final micro which in turn contains the co-ordinates of the cache location.
Once you have found the cache don't forget to note down the co-ordinate for Griggs Green and then follow your GPS arrow to the alternative parking waypoint given below. If you have parked at the first clue, use the directions above to get back to your car.
