Geocache Description:

The purpose of this cache is simple...to help prove to yourself how dedicated of a cacher you really are!!!

In order to claim a find on this cache, you must have successfully found (placing a cache will not count for this challenge) at least one cache in each of the Difficulty/Terrain combinations found in the table below (just like blackout for BINGO…only in this game there is no “Free Spot”). Sounds simple…right?!?!?! In case you have not calculated it yet…that is 81 individual caches you must find before you can claim a find on this cache!!!

The final cache coordinates are listed on this cache page.

In order to claim a find on this cache, you must send me a file containing all of your qualifying finds (.GPX format is preferred or .LOC if you filter out your locationless, event and CITO caches ahead of time for me. At a minimum I need a list containing cache name, waypoint and Difficulty/Terrain ratings).
DO NOT email me through my profile send file to zoejam72@hotmail.com (the other account will not hold such a big file!) I will review the list in order to verify the caches. The find cannot be logged until the physical container is found and the logbook inside is signed.

Some guidelines that need to be laid out…
  1. The posted coordinates are the actual coordinates for the cache.

  2. Generally accepted rules, guidelines and conditions for logging a cache find apply. These must be actual caches listed on Gecaching.com that you have personally (physically) found and logged. You may include caches found prior to the creation of Challenge: Blackout so long as they meet all other challenge requirements.

  3. All cache types count as finds for Challenge: Blackout with the exception of events (CITO included) and locationless caches.

  4. While you may have others with you when you find the final cache, only those who have fulfilled all criteria for this cache will be allowed to log it as a find. Find logs by other cachers that do not meet the requirements will be deleted.

  5. Only the Difficulty/Terrain (Star) ratings as listed on cache pages will be excepted. I am only responsible for this cache page…if a cache owner changes a rating either up or down and causes a loss in one of the Difficulty/Terrain ratings before you find the cache, you will need to find an additional cache to complete that requirement. If a cache owner changes a rating up or down and causes a loss in one of the Difficulty/Terrain ratings after you find the cache, you are NOT expected to find an additional cache (but if you were dedicated enough to find all these ratings…could you really live with yourself if you didn’t try again???).

  6. When in doubt ask – we can discuss it or even seek guidance from others, but the final decision rest with the cache owner.

  7. Remember that this is a game and is supposed to be fun!
