Geocache Description:

One Hundred Twentyfourth in the Famous People (FP) Series - Tom Hanks
Thomas Jeffrey Hanks (born July 9, 1956) is an American two-time Academy Award-winning film actor, Emmy-winning director, voice-over artist, writer, and movie producer. Hanks worked in television and family-friendly comedies before achieving notable success as a dramatic actor in Forrest Gump.

Hanks was born in Concord, California. In 1979, Hanks moved to New York City, where he made his film debut in the low-budget slasher film, He Knows You're Alone. The next year Hanks landed a lead role on an ABC television pilot called Bosom Buddies, playing the role of Kip Wilson. Hanks was teamed with Peter Scolari as a pair of young advertising men forced to dress as women so they could live in an inexpensive all-female hotel.

One of Tom Hanks' most notable roles was the 1994 summer hit Forrest Gump, where the lead character moves in and out of cultural events in American history from the 60's onward.

This is a 2 Stage Multi. At Stage I, you will need to know a little bit about Seinfeld. Here's the episode that contains the clue:

Keith Hernandez and 'The Second Spitter'
In a take-off of the 1991 Oliver Stone film "JFK," Jerry debunks the theory that Hernandez once spit on both Kramer and Newman

Hernandez makes a crucial error in the ninth that cost the Mets the game. Newman spots the former first baseman outside Shea Stadium and heckles, "Nice game, pretty boy." Kramer feels the sting of saliva and yells out, "I'm hit!" before the spit reportedly ricochets toward Newman. Back ... and to the left. Back ... and to the left. "Unfortunately the immutable laws of physics contradict the whole premise," concludes Jerry, who assists the victims in determining an additional assailant: reliever Roger McDowell.

Quotes:
Newman.: Wow, it was McDowell.
Jerry: But why? Why McDowell?
Kramer: Well, maybe because we were sitting in the right field stands cursing at him in the bullpen all game.
Newman: He must have caught a glimpse of us when I poured that beer on his head.

At the Stage I coordinates, you will find a marker with the same name as one referenced in the Seinfeld episode. Things may not be as easy of they seem right here. Look around before you just head off in the wrong direction.

Once you find the name at Stage I, add up the letters in the name on the marker that is mentioned in the Seinfeld episode above. The coordinates for the Final Stage II can be determined using the following chart:

Clue Name contains Coordinates are
6 letters N32 52.175 W096 52.190
7 letters N32 52.170 W096 52.222
8 letters N32 52.190 W096 52.260

At the Final, Stage II, you will find the Tom Hanks reference. A large bison tube hangs in the balance and it has been camoed to match its surroundings. But all you will need to do is squat down left of the bush just to the right of the reference. The container is very near the outside edge so only a cursory search into the bush is necessary. You know the drill, BYO
