Geocache Description:

Just off the paved walking trail along Bayshore Road in Stanhope. (Not far from a boardwalk along the trail.)

The container is a small silver metal container. Bring your own pen/pencil. You can walk the whole trail or just park and grab.
At the start of the trail is a monument that was built in 1970 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the communities of Stanhope, Covehead and Brackley. In 1770 the first settlers of the area arrived on the Scottish ship, Falmouth. The walking trail was built just a few years ago. It is very busy with locals and tourists during the summer months.
