Use the mounument parking area and the woodsroad at the green gate. This will take you to a Audubon trail intersection just befor the fenced in mine area.
This rock viewing area is just off the Audubon trail. The decon container is not in a location that places you at the edge. Cache name refers to a chunk of quartz I found near gz. Please be sure to close the lid tightly and cover over cache well to keep from muggle hikers. - Treequest
