Geocache Description:

Another easy find not far from the track, in an obvious spot.

Due to my advancing age, I (and my doctor) am concerned about the possibility of my experiencing a medical situation while on the road to Maintain one or more of my 120 GC Geocaches and 50 GCA Geocaches.

If you live near this Geocache, or regularly travel near it, you might be interested in Adopting this Geocache (or more of mine). Please let me (WanderingAus) know by Message at
Geocaching Message Center
if you are interested, including the cache code or codes
(e.g GC17Q3R for this cache).

Due to the temporary nature of pens and pencils in my geocaches
BRING YOUR OWN WRITING IMPLEMENT!!!

Not many people are aware of the existence of Hume Road Wildlife Reserve unless they live in the near vicinity or travel along Hume Road on a regular basis. An excellent spot for a walk, the wildflowers are outstanding in season.

There is plenty of safe room for parking on Culligan Road, and a gate leading into and through the Reserve will take you very close to the cache. Please don't climb the fence from any of the other streets, as this will cause unnecessary damage and may bring unwanted interest from the neighbours or the cache guardian.

The cache is a drab camo'd 75mm diameter x 155mm high round screw-top container, with log book, Finders Cards, a pen, two pencils, a pencil sharpener, and a few swaps.

A plastic ziplock bag has been included to protect the log book and Finders Cards. THE PENCILS DO NOT REQUIRE PROTECTION, PLEASE DON'T PUT THEM IN THE PLASTIC BAG.

When writing your log entry, please use the first available space STARTING FROM THE FRONT (the side with the laminated stash note stapled on, and Cache Name written on the outside cover under the stash note), and use BOTH SIDES of each page.

This cache is now part of a series leading towards a Bonus Box, GC1RN04 WanAus 103 - Bonus Box replacing my archived cache GC1NKZ2 WanAus 68 - South Perth RSL Gun. There is a BB number in the back of the log book. You will need to record this number in the format 68? (from WanAus 68 and ? for the BB number) for future reference. Note that the number you need to record is not 26?, you must record it as 68? in order for it to sort correctly and assign the value to the correct variable.

This is just a suggestion, but it may help you to keep track of the BB numbers.
Every cache page has "*Personal Cache Note" *Click to enter a note, just above Geocache Description:
You could either add the code to each individual cache, or add all numbers to GC1RN04 WanAus 103 - Bonus Box.

If you previously found GC1NKZ2 WanAus 68 - South Perth RSL Gun and recorded the number it is still correct, so you don't need to record this one.

When trading items please consider trading up or trading even and leaving items that you would want to find, and please don't take the pen, pencil or sharpener. Whatever you leave, please DO NOT LEAVE FOOD IN ANY CACHE. If you can't trade up or trade even I don't mind seeing TNLNSL in the log.

Trackables (geocoins and travel bugs) are not tradeable items. Please feel free to take them without making a trade, but please leave a note in the logbook and your online log, and do log them online.

First To Find Award Congratulations to
