You are looking for a small container about the size of a 35m film canister.
If you weren't aware of it, State Highway 410 is also known as Mather Memorial Highway, named in honor of Stephen Mather, the first superintendent of the National Park Service (see: (visit link)
This is almost a gratuitous roadside micro near a memorial to Mather, and you can practically drive right up to it. It is at a nice paved pull-out on the south side of Hwy 410, most easily accessed going eastbound but simple enough going westbound as well.
