This is one of my favorite holiday spots around. (Of course my favorite holiday is Halloween...) This is a short walk to a waypoint/viewpoint. To get to any viewpoint you must go up a little at least, and this is no exception. If it is wet, you'll need some shoes with good traction, otherwise it is wide open, no bushes or trees around - just look north and enjoy the view!
BEWARE OF GRAZING COWS!!
Though they've only been catering to the spooklovers for about a dozen years now, this is a former dairy family that is now providing great family/kid entertainment including a haybarn maze for the little ones, a corn maze for everyone, a huge pumpkin patch, even pig races. They used to fire off an enormous spud gun firing pumpkins hundreds of yards, but I believe it has now been retired (though it is still there...)
You are eventually going to be looking for a small plastic container that despite its current appearance looks like it may have previously contained whipping cream. The spot is VERY open, so a bit of stealth is needed. The site is open enough that you should be able to see anyone coming for a good 2-3 hundred yards, though.
To get the final, you must go to the WP and find the 5 digit number on the two objects you will find at these coordinates (yes, the same number is on both). That number is ABCDE for the manipulation purposes below.
The final is at North 47 11.UVW West 122 05.XYZ
U=B-(A+C) V=D-(A+E) W=E
X=B+E Y=(A+B)-E Z=(B+E)-(A+C)
First to find: there is a free latte card from Castle Perk in Sumner (should a non-local find this, it is just north of the Sumner, WA post office.)
SO, Wasian and tomison, co-FTFs, huh? Who is going to drink the latte??? CONGRATS!!
For those to follow, there are some Spookdawg13 wooden nickels as well!
