Geocache Description:

A micro placement that reminded me of Evel Knievel who passed away this past week. I'd bring along a little pliers and a tweezers if I were you!

Robert Craig "Evel" Knievel died November 30, 2007, at the age of 69. Back when I was a radio news reporter in Appleton, Wisconsin, I got to interview him with a group of other newsmen at a restaurant called The Forum, just a stone's throw from Lambeau Field in Green Bay. As a side note, kind of a neat place, fancy buffet, decorated in Roman style with pillars, etc., and women in togas who took your trays to your table - don't know if that would fly today. Got free tickets to see him at a local quarter-mile track in sort of a ravine-like setting the next night. He missed! You gotta be tough to flip around like a rag doll bouncing off the various surfaces like that. I don't remember him getting up. Wow.... So anyhow, this one's for him! Have fun!
