Geocache Description:

equine/'ekwïn/

Adjective: Of, relating to, or affecting horses or other members of the horse family.

Noun: A horse or other member of the horse family.

A cache at a rest stop in the township of Clinton. A photo opportunity here with the three large fibreglass clydesdales. Since the cache was originally published the horses have gained a shed to protect them from the elements.

Look behind you and you will see on the hill one of the few remnants of native bush that you can see on SH1 between Invercargill and Dunedin.

The cache is not hidden on the horses or the shed.

There have been 3 caches for this page. The original (now gone) was hidden by the beech, a replacement by TreMichLan that has never been found and the current container.
