Nice place to stop and stretch your legs 20 miles north of Weed, CA along US Highway 97. The Rest Area has 24 hour access to all vehicles and offers heated restrooms with running water. There are picnic table’s located close by for your dining and caching pleasures, as well as a dog walking area to top it all off.
The cache is a small pill container tucked in an obvious spot with decent coverage from muggles if you time it right. This area gets lots of use in the warmer months of the year so please be sure the container is covered better when you leave then when you found it.
Take the time to admire the two large guardians, who’ve got the cache covered; both are a fine specimen of the P. Benthamiana family.
