This cache was placed with the intention of getting the kids (and adults) out of the house, away from their electronic toys, and GET SOME EXERCISE! My attitude is, to keep kids out of trouble,..."Hike 'em and Bike 'em" as much as possible. The cache is located along the Farmington Valley Greenway biketrail. I often ride this biketrail and can be heard to say "On your left!" as I fly by.
To access this cache, you MUST use the biketrail. Do not cut across any private property. Parking for the Farmington Valley Greenway is ONLY allowed at the lots along the trail. Do not park along the road. The biketrail closes at sunset, so please keep this in mind so you don't have to explain yourself to the local police.

Although not required, please try to take a child with you and leave some nice goodies in the cache for others. This would be a good cache to introduce young ones to geocaching since there are other caches nearby.
The terrain is generally flat and paved. If you approach from the north, you'll be treated to a great view of the Farmington river as you cross over it on the refurbished railroad bridge.
The treasure you seek is in a lock-n-lock container. Please re-hide the cache well. For the smaller ones, this would be a great bike ride that's not too long. Roundtrip from the parking areas range from 1 to 3 miles. Get 'em out of the house and "Hike 'em and Bike 'em"!
Please remember whether you are walking, rollerblading, or biking stay on the right side of the trail. I'll be sure to yell "On your left!" as I pass you one day.
