Geocache Description:

The cache is located about 150 feet off the Thorn Mountian Bike Path on the North side of the lake below the dam.

The cache is a "tub" measuring about 8 inches long and 6 inches wide, by 6 inches deep. It's camo'd so keep your eyes open.

This cache was placed to get visiters along this side of the park. The best way to get to the cache is to stay on the Spillway Path around the north side of the lake until you see the mowed entrance to the Thorn Bike Path. This is just a suggestion to prevent biker/hiker run ins. There is a beautiful view of the lake along this path. I seen many deer this morning as I was placing the cache.

The area located across route 58, and south of the park entrance is a public hunting ground. During hunting season it is not uncommon to hear shotgun blasts. The cache is located well to the north and east of this, just want to make everyone aware of the noise.
