Geocache Description:

This is our first event cache and we hope you enjoy it.
It's a chance to spread some Holiday cheer and to help out a charity.
Bring your kids, bring your family, BRING A NEW RECRUIT, or bring your DOG (and a leash).

We ask that each team bring a food or toy item for donation.
We'll deliver to Toys for Tots and/or South County Outreach.

This is being held at Florence Joyner Olympic Park in Mission Viejo. We have a covered area with MANY picnic tables and even grills (if you want to cook while here). Did someone say HOT TODDIES ?

There is a huge playground area right next to the tables and plenty of parking for all. Ball fields if you want come prepared to play and restrooms too.

It's Sun Dec 16th, please start arriving about 4:30pm, the gift exchange will start at 5:00pm.

We'll be done in time for the nearby Flash Mob Event at 7PM Candy Cane Lane Flash Mob by DopeyDuck. That event is only about a mile away and we can car pool from here.

The idea of a white elephant gift exchange is a popular Holiday party game usually played during the Christmas season in the United States.
Wrapped gifts are brought and each person gets a number.

Each guest (or family or team) contributes one gift to the collection. Multiple members of a Team/Family are welcome to participate by bringing multiple wrapped gifts.
Numbers are choosen at random and each of the people/teams take turns picking a gift from the pile OR they can steal one of the already opened gifts instead if one looks inviting.
A gift can only be stolen three times and then it's frozen.

The type of gift suggested can be "something less than $15", "a home made item", "a gag gift (PG13 rating)", or some other Holiday or Caching appropriate item you might have mind to wrap.

Bring your TB's and Coins, there will a Holiday Tree where you can hang your item for exhcange with the others traders. Please don't take more TB/Coins than you bring.

If there is time, you can practice your singing prior to the Flash Mob.

Some drinks and cookies will be provided but it you want bring some more to share, you can. Please let us know your plans in your logs. We're hoping for good weather and drink types might change depending on weather.
There ARE BBQ's in the area if you are in need of them.
