Somewhere near the Surge Tank but not at it. Very close to the other feature that sticks up in the air to the westish
*SAFETY NOTE* - The turnoff to the parking area prohibits right hand turns from the Kosciuso Road going towards the ski fields (uphill). It is safer to turn into the carpark area on the way back down the mountains. Take care in winter with the mad ski traffic!
The surge tank acts like a pressure relief valve for when they pump water from Jindabyne Dam back up hill into the Snowy Scheme where it is utilised for power generation before flowing westward for irrigation or released down the Snowy for environmental purposes.
If you look really hard across the lake you might see someone finding Jindy Views!
