Old RT8 Roadside Traditional Cache

A small camoed lock n lock located in Winsted right off RT 8 north. Parking is at: N41 55.870 W073 03.500.
During the summertime, it may be tough to park here because of a fruit stand or hot dog cart.
A very quick and easy grab for the days you'd rather not hike a long distance. May not be available after heavy snowfall.
Not too sure about the history of this spot, but a little more north of the cache, you will find what looks like part of an old bridge or foundation. I'm guessing this was Route 8 before the flood of '55.
You may need to use stealth during fishing season, or if the parking area has some kind of food stand.
Cache contains logbook, pencil, and a wheat penny.
