Geocache Description:

This cache was placed in December 2007 by Terentius.

Many thanks to the Wardens of Bishop's Wood Local Nature Reserve for allowing us to place this cache. It is sited close to the edge of Bishop's Wood in Caswell Valley. The GPS signal can play up a little during the summer months.

The cache was originally located beside what looks remarkably like a chessboard, often found complete with chess pieces (see waypoint). But unfortunately, the cache was constantly being muggled and left in a bad state of repair. We have taken the sad decision (July 2021) to move it a few metres away in the hope that it will survive a little better.

The cache is a clip-lock box in a camo bag underneath some mossy rocks. Please let us know if it needs any maintenance, either by reporting a problem in a log or via the message center.
