Euclid's first high school Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

JoesBar: The City of Euclid, in its infinite wisdom, has again torn down a historic building. The cache was behind a small out- building. The Historical Society is still there! Anyway, since the hindning spot is gone, I have to archive the cache.

Geocache Description:

The Cache:
Permission for this location has been granted by the Euclid Historical Society. This is a quick grab.
Please park on the street, not in the driveway.

The Location:
The North Street School was Euclid’s first high school. When it opened, Euclid was still a township and much larger than today. Some of the grammar schools were located in what is now Richmond Hts, and Lyndhurst.
The Euclid Historical Society now operates a museum in the building. It is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 1p.m. until 4 p.m. It is free!
I highly recommend visiting the museum.
It is not only Euclid history, but also contains artifacts from early America.
The volunteers there are very knowledgeable and friendly.
