Geocache Description:

A Traditional Cache in a 7.62mm Ammo can. Down a pretty well beaten trail.

This was my first cache to hide and so I hope it goes well. The co-ordinates for parking at the start is 41° 48.246N and 073° 46.931W. Or there is other spots on the other side of the bridge to park if this one was full.
If you stay towards the right side of the trail at first you'll see a sign that says "Bev's Run" from Trout Unlimited. Not sure who put it there but I know I've seen a lot of fishermen around there It's just that I never caught anything so who knows what it means. Looks professionally installed.
In the summer, on weekends, you can hear a lot of music from a pavilion that gets rented a lot pretty close to the cache. In the Winter it doesn't get rented out and you'll be able to see where I'm talking about since the leaves are gone.
Not too many muggles around but sometimes motor cycles or quads my ride through this area passing by so listen for them and make sure they don't spy you finding it.
Inside is a travel bug, log book that I now remember forgot to state the date I hid this(bummer), mosquito repellant for summer, glow sticks, glue, stickers, band aids, etc etc, normal swag.
The trail follows the Wappingers creek up until you get to the cache. Shouldn't be a bad walk for kids. My 4 yr old girls walked it with me. In the spring and summer there are lots of wild flowers to keep the view interesting.
Hope you all enjoy this one.
