Ahwatukee Bug Stop Traditional Cache
GeoRaptor: 83 visits in 4 1/2 months made this a pretty successful cache. It is archived not because of location, muggles, or my inability to maintain it. It is archived because one fellow cacher wants to impose his rules on everyone in the game. It's too bad that one jerk can ruin the game for everyone.

Regular cache within 150 feet of parking in Pecos Park. Cache is best reached from 48th Street and Chandler Blvd.
This is a regular cache ideal for trading travel items. Located in Pecos Park, this cache is within 200 feet of Gila River Indian Reservation to the South, but there is no reason for you to cross onto the reservation. There is also no need to climb any fences or park on a freeway. The best way to approach the cache site is to enter the park from 48th Street and Chandler Blvd. Bring the kids and the dogs as there is plenty for both to do.
The 66-acre regional Pecos Park offers families lighted soccer, football, and multipurpose athletic fields, a skate plaza, 1.5-acre off-leash activity area for dogs, large playground with splash pad play area, swimming pool, basketball and tennis courts, ramadas, sand and concrete volleyball courts, and walking paths.
The new community center is open 6am-9pm Monday through Friday and 10am-8pm on Saturdays (closed Sundays).
Watch for muggles running or on bikes.
