Angel’s Overlook
We returned to this lovely park to celebrate
Thanksgiving and our first year of caching. Back where it really began for us,
Inks Lake State Park.
A great weekend camping culminated with the
drop of this cache.
You are searching for a small Lock-in-Lock
container on a beautiful overlook we have decided is frequented by
angels. If people are
surviving jumping from these rocks, angels are working
overtime. Cache
contains a logbook, pencil and FTF gift to cover price of admission
or the beverage of your choice to celebrate the find.
Enjoy the climb and the incredible
view. Cache is
accessible from an Inks Lake State Park trail and can be
challenging terrain depending on your approach. Hey, make it as hard as you want,
rappelling gear and pick axes if you dare. We used the off trail approach
that is basically 2.5 with good walking shoes. Muggle
rich environment all year round, be sneaky, be cachey.
Enjoy one of the great places in our corner of heaven, Texas.
The cache you seek is in the beautiful gem
known as Inks Lake State Park, TXSP fees are
currently $5.
Please support our state parks. The cache is found just off
trail in a normally muggle rich
environment. Use
all your geo-tricks to keep this one secure from unfriendlies. Cache
application on file with the Park Supervisor, Terry
Rodgers.
