Diamond In The Ruff Series
This cache is one of the four preliminary caches in the "Diamond in the Ruff" series. There is a code number inside the lid or the log book of each of the four preliminary caches. All four code numbers will be needed to find the location of the final cache in the series "Diamond In The Ruff: Quad-angulation". In addition to the code numbers, you will need the coordinates of the actual cache locations for each of the four preliminary caches so be sure to keep these coordinates also.

The "Diamond In The Ruff" caches were placed to provide a tour of green spaces and trails in Newmarket. This series is loosely based on the Aurora Triangle series which is one of my favourites. To introduce some variety (hopefully not notoriety ) and to exercise your geocaching techniques a little, each cache has a different style. The four preliminary caches include a traditional, a two stage “projection” multi, a 3 stage multi and a puzzle cache. A pen, paper and/or calculator might be needed as well as paying attention to the cache page instructions. With the proper (hopefully easily obtained) coordinates, the cache locations are intended to be straight forward finds especially when using the clues. Since these are town park/green space caches, good stealth practises will be needed on several of these caches.

Be Careful to park only in designated parking areas on side streets or parking lots. Do not park on any main or thoroughfare streets.

Original Cache Contents: HotHands, CITO kit, two lanyard pens, several pins, carabeener and FTF prize worth up to $50,000
