Welcome to the snack shack. Íkorni and ferrets seem to both love snacks. The Íkorni would have loved to venture further here but were afraid of being turned into an Íkorni skin rug. This is a great place to use and enjoy for the day when its safe for us to explore.
Many different recreational activities can be enjoyed in this small area, including hiking, fishing, canoeing, hunting, trapping, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and bird watching. There is also excellent fishing opportunities that the 38 acre pond have to offer it is full of pickerel, yellow perch, bullhead and largemouth bass. It is a great place to hang out in a canoe or kayak, and there is a boat launch at the pond located right off of Gee Brook Road.
Camping is also a favorite pastime, with plenty of perfect spots nestled in the peaceful community. Don't forget to come out and watch the early morning mist as it reaches up to the heavens during the first few hours of the new day!
