When I
first
started geocaching, I
was intimidated by
multi stage caches.
One of the first that
I did was by IDP. As I was just learning
how things can be
hidden, I was not able to find the
first stage, but got
help from the owner. IDP also gave me one of my first big
challenges, their
CH-one tribute in the
RF&P park (part of the
Meadow Farm park
complex).
The above listed coordinates do not take you to
the first stage of the cache. I have started the cache as a puzzle
- I don't like puzzles!! The puzzle will lead you to the first
stage of a seven stage multi in the RF&P park. What you need to
solve the puzzle is in front of you. I hope this cache will be my
version of geocaching 101 for new geocachers. If you use the hints,
the cache should not be too hard. Have some fun and take a stroll
in the park.
Important Note: Never ever, ever
look for stage 6 during a baseball game at the new RF&P
stadium. Hundreds of people may be watching you. No way around
that.
N 37 40.ABC
W 77 30.DEF
A = violet, B = orange, C = green, D = grey, E =
yellow, F = yellow
The final stage is an ammo can. For the FTF, a
Starbucks gift card. Other swag - 3 nanos with logs, 4 carabiners,
batteries for GPSr, LED flashlights/key rings, pedometer, 2 DVDs,
stopwatch, unactivated travel bug tag.
