Skiers Spring Wood 1 Traditional Cache

This is the first in a mini series of 3 caches in and around Skiers Spring Wood Hoyland. Car parking is available at N53 29.336 W001 26.590 which is close to the recommended footpath to start your walk.
The first two caches have a number and clue written in the log book which you should add or subtract from the coordinates posted on the Skiers Spring Wood Final Cache page to give the true location of the final cache. The number in this cache relates to N.
This woodland is striated with footpaths so you should have fun finding you way around between caches. The GPS reception at this cache site was reasonable but I advise using the spoiler clue if in doubt.
There is no need whatsoever to stray onto the railway close to the cache site.
The cache is a small screw top type container and it contains a log book, pen, pencil, sharpener, cache box card and assorted goodies.
