Knock, Knock......., Who's There?
a "Kollection of North Orange County Kachers"
Several of us, North Orange County geocachers, have been discussing forming up as an informal Group. The main purpose of our group is to provide a social network so we could hold events, such as this, arrange group caching outings, and workshops to discuss geocaching topics like creating caches for placement or how to go paperless. Geocachers who in the past would have done this in our area have either relocated their geocaching activities to other places or dropped off the radar altogether.
This event will just be a first gathering, of whomever is available, to get the ball rolling. Personally, I don't see us having our own web page but we could better utilize the SoCalGeocachers.com website to network, organize, and broadcast to the southland that we are here! There are alot of new geocachers out there that we hope to encourage to come and meet us.
While most of our activities may be centered around the North OC cities of Anaheim, Brea, Buena Park, Fullerton, Placentia, and Yorba Linda, we encourage any geocacher from anywhere to join in and share your experience and ideas to help make this group an asset to the geocaching community.
This event will just be a meet and greet. No budget for a raffle or give aways (unless donated). But, I will have 2 "Red Jeep Travel Bugs" to move along and invite others(jeeps) for a group "Photo Op".
