The Little "Blue" Caboose Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

the 3 caballeros: This one has ran a long life and I hate to see it go away. Got word the Little Blue Caboose has been purchased and will be moving to the back area of the KOA. It will be renovated and turn into a room for rent. Adding photos of logs since we grabbed the cache today. Farewell Little Blue Caboose. This should free the area for hopefully a new listing.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to Manchester's Arrowhead and Aerospace Museum and "the Little BLUE Caboose". Plenty of free parking and easy terrain.
Owners welcome you to check out the caboose. There is a Museum nearby that covers the local area and timespan, from "before five Native American tribes traversed the area through the opening of the nearby Arnold Engineering Development Center in 1952 (Aerospace research and test site)". Museum open 10 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Saturday, but you are welcome to cache anytime.
A "Golden Dollar" and OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE awaits FTF. Please keep an eye out for muggles, close container well and re-hide as found.

NOTE !! >> Jan 1, 2008...
The original cache appears to have been muggled. Today, I replaced it with a small "Mag". I realize that this location has lots of traffic. Please try to avoid muggles, as much as possible. Try to do most of your searching away from the front side of the caboose, to reduce exposure and perhaps for "better results". Have fun.
>>>> UPDATE !! 1/01/2015 <<<
Someone has now hidden a "letterbox", very close to the hiding spot, for this GeoCache. If there are "letterbox stamps" or "carves" in the container that you find, DO NOT claim it as this GeoCache
