Threesome Mystery Cache
Craftea's Archives: Key and geocoin went missing, and the property owners have moved away. Time to put this one down while I consider recreating the cache elsewhere. Thanks to everyone that played!

The cache is at the posted coordinates.
Really.
That’s not what the puzzle is about, isn’t that grand? No complicated puzzle solving is necessary, no need to know how to read the source code of web pages, no math, no visiting a library, no obscure encryption code to crack. The cache is at the posted coordinates. It is located near the free scrap lumber box on the corner of Highway 9 and E Highland Dr. in Arlington. It’s not even hidden all that well, it’s right there.
What could be easier?
Well, you know there’s a trick to it, I mean, there has to be, doesn’t there? Here’s the trick: It’s a locked fishing tackle box.
That’s right, it’s locked. With a padlock. And for good measure, it’s chained to a tree. And yes, you have to open it and sign the logbook to claim this as a find. So there is the puzzle, and the tie-in to the name. You must:
1) Get the key, which is attached to a geocoin “Threesome” (TB1FRG8) from whichever cache it’s in,
2) Open this cache,
3) Put the geocoin in another cache.
If you are lucky, the key will be in a cache you haven’t found yet, and when you replace it, you can place it in a cache you haven’t found yet – Three smilies and a bonus geocoin icon!
Of course there are a few “rules” to this puzzle. The geocoin must be picked up, used, and replaced in the same day so others can have a go at it. The geocoin must be kept in the general vicinity of Arlington at all times.
The difficulty/terrain rating is for this cache only, not for the difficulty in locating and retrieving the key.
THE KEY IS ATTACHED TO A GEOCOIN! If you find a key without a geocoin, it is NOT the Threesome key!
Congratulations to Flyboy for getting FTF before I even realized it had gotten published. As for milestones, big congratulations to ThreeBottles, making this their 800th find, and also to Magliano, her 100th. Woo hoo!
On the whole, human beings want to be good, but not too good, and not quite all the time.
