Geocache Description:

Near the Limekiln Trail, in the Sierra Azul Open Space Preserve.

This cache replaces Virus Cache Alpha (GCM38W) that was buried nearby by some construction work in Nov 2007. All the Viruses had already been spread, so some of its offspring may still be living on in the area.

This caches theme is flashlights – there are all kinds of them – a couple of headlamps, some keychain flashlights (some LED ones), there’s a closet light, a book light, a carabineer light, a clip on light, a regular flashlight or two, even a few extra batteries.

When I was a kid, my dad used to have a drawer full of lighters (he was smoker at the time) and electric razors. I guess everyone has their eccentricities. Last year, when I got a new Petzl LED headlamp for camping trips, I was about to retire my old REI headlamp to my nightstand drawer and…. right, it was full of flashlights. Like father like son, I guess.

The area is very, very, clear of vegitation at the moment, but there's generally a lot of poison oak up here, so be careful after the plants grow back.
