Easy cache for trading of TB's and Geocoin's at exit 161 just west of the I-40/I-85 split on the South side of the exit. Travel Bugs and Geocoins only please.
This is a small ammo can just off of the Interstate. Easy access from both directions. Remember that parking on the exit or entrance ramps is illegal in N.C. and this area is well patrolled. East bound turn south on exit 161 then turn around at the end of that road to come back and park on the side of the road(plenty of space as you will see). West bound turn around and pull off the road just before the east bound ramp(both ways there is plenty of room even for a tractor trailer to park). If you drive a tractor trailer you might want to go to exit 160, head south, take your first left past the East bound ramp at the stop sign which will be the frontage road. Take the next left and pull off to the right shoulder. The cache is at the base of a triple trunked tree down an incline. Should be pretty visible when you're there. Please leave a trackable for each you take. Thank you.
