This is the first cache for the River Rat. The cache is located in a park used quite a bit in summer, in winter just occasional dog walker, cross country skier, skijorers and dogsleds. Cache is a small spice container that has been camoflaged. If you remove an item, replace it with something else. Please replace contents carefully.
In the summer, you can drive most of the way and then take a short hike. Or you can go by the way of the river. In the winter, It works better by snowshoes or cross country skis. It is hikeable if you stay on the ski trail. Approximately a half mile.
It should be fairly easy to find with the coordinates given. Bring your own pen/pencil.
