Geocache Description:

Fort Totten Cache

Fort Totten is the official headquarters of the U.S. Army Reserve's U.S. 77th Division, the "Statue of Liberty Division". Construction began in 1857, that included plans by a certain army officer named, Robert E. Lee.

The decommissioned Officers’ Club at Fort Totten Park is now home to the Bayside Historical Society.
