Located in Lake Grubb Park in West Hempfield Township. Park entrance is off of Hempfield Hill Road. Park hours are dawn to dusk.
The placement of this cache was originally on December 7, 2007 to celebrate 1 year since my last chemo treatment for ovarian cancer.
It immediately was muggled and we decided to move it to this Lake Grubb location.
You can take the tough route or have patience and go in the easy way.
Cache is filled with OC awareness pins & bracelets and a special bracelet for the FTF.
Please trade cancer awareness items.
1/18/12 UPDATE. I have updated the terrain to a 3. There are 2 options for accessing the cache. The path which goes up the hill near the parking area. This way has very few briars but does have some elevation changes. OR you can go down towards the lake and follow path to the bench. From this point you will need to climb over a downed tree and step on briars but once past this initial hurdle it's much easier.
