Geocache Description:

This is one in series of “Copy Cat” hides I am doing in honor of local Marin Geocachers.

The best approach up to the ridge is not the deer trail you see straight ahead of you as you pass through the gate. Please take the wider trail to your immediate right as you pass through the gate and follow the contour of the hill for about 425 feet until you see the trail on your left that ascends to Pinheiro Ridge.

This cache is to honor BKip, one of Marin's most prolific and talented Geocache hiders. He has constructed some of the finest caches and cache containers that I have seen to date.

Not only did I copy cat his archived "Plank Walking" (visit link) cache, but I also stole his camouflage container (ok, I got his permission first). THEN, I placed it near his archived cache "Pinheiro Ridge" (visit link) So basically, I am copying everything I can from BKip on this one.

If you found the original Plank Walking, you will recognize BKip's handiwork, but I did add my own touch of camouflage. I don't know if it will make it harder or easier for you to find, but I guess you'll have to be the judge of that.

Oh, did I mention that I am making the Marin Geocachers that I am honoring/copying co-owners of these caches whether they like it or not? (Even so, I look forward to them making the find so we can read their logs.)
