Knot in a Tree Mystery Cache
littlepig: Decided to archive this one. Should free up the preserve for several more caches that get more traffic. Thanks to all who searched for this and for the great logs over the nine years it ran.

A three-stage multi/puzzle cache ending with a decon container. The coordinates ARE the real location of the first stage. Know your knots.
The middle piglet is a boy scout. We call him knot-boy. He wanted to test cachers' knot knowledge and cooked up a multi/puzzle cache. We warned him that there might not be many visitors to this one. He didn't care, he likes knots and if there is only one other cacher out there that likes them too that's enough.
The cache can be done without knowing your knots, you just may have a lot more walking and frustration. Correct knot identification at the first two stages will provide you the correct coordinates to the final.
Here's how it works. At each stage you will find a collection of knots, and each has a wooden block attached. The wooden block has a knot-name and a full set of coordinates. Find the knot whose knot-name correctly matches and you have found the coordinates to the next stage.
Just in case you have trouble reading the coordinates and are unsure of a digit, below is a full set of last-five-digit number combinations that can be found on the washers, but rearranged in digit order to not give away the actual coordinates:
N: 00369, 00599, 02369, 02789, 02799, 03559, 04489, 04789
W: 00038, 00049, 14569, 25599, 44459, 55669, 57799
