Moss Landing has always been one of my favorite places to step back in time and catch a little R & R. Favorite activities here include browsing the antique shops, enjoying great seafood, kayaking, and meandering up and down the long windswept beaches.

Now, add geocaching. After spending two delightful days here caching, the mini cacher and I added our touch with a cache at Moss Landing State Beach.

As we placed this cache, the sun had already set and the harbor was glowing with boats strung with Christmas Lights. Behind us the surf was crashing loudly on the beach and to the north all the creatures in the lagoon were settling down for the night. Truly a magical place! .

Oh...just one more thing... In the spirit of the season, Santa left a little something in the log for the FTF! Enjoy!
