DUNCAN JACKS *ARCHIVED 11-18-2013* Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Scout Master: After a note from a cacher that the access had been blocked off, I went by to check on the cache. Indeed, it has had a LARGE amount of brush placed to block the access path. Therefore, I have decided to archive this cache. Thanks to all who visited this (1 month shy of-) 6 year old cache.

Geocache Description:

You will (hopefully) find this cache a short distance down a dirt drive. You will be off-road. NOTE added 8-25-2012: a cacher has reported that the dirt path/road has been overgrown and may be difficult to find. It is in the curve of the drive near the lower corner.

Eastern Jack, Gray Pine, Black Pine, Black Jack Pine, Prince's Pine, Princess Pine, Banks Pine, Banksian Pine, Hudson Bay Pine, all these are names for the type of scrub-pine that is found all around the cache location.

.....You can access the cache by taking Exit 63 off of I-85, either N or S. You will go a very short distance on 290. Turn off of 290 onto Inglesby Parkway. (You will see a BIG truck Stop). Go down the road to its end, where you will continue on past the stop sign near the entrance to 2 big buildings (one on each side). The speed limit becomes 15mph - please obey it.

.....You will very shortly come to a curve, and you should see the dirt/grass road in front of you just in the curve. You may park there(I recommend parking off the road) and then walk down the dirt road. But the ground May be soft if it has rained

.....The cache is located just off the dirt/grass road. You are looking for a narrow ammo can. The container has a log book and pen, as well as a lot of tradables - even a Travel Bug for the FTF if he or she so wishes! YOU WILL ENCOUNTER SOME ROCKS. In the summer this may mean ticks, or even snakes. Be aware accordingly.

*****Please stay on the right side of the road as you go down it. The cache is NOT on the left side.

.....Permission has been granted to me to place this cache here and for cachers to hunt for it by Larry Bailey, the site's manager.

.....COME & ENJOY!

FTF HONORS GO TO....Basset Hounds!!!(Once again!!{at 7am & 27 degrees!that's dedication!})
