The Perpetual Firebox Traditional Cache

Firebox #1 by ThFireman was in place from 8/22/01 to 11/10/07, and I have hidden The Perpetual Firebox in order to maintain the caching tradition in this nice park. The Perpetual Firebox is the cache that keeps on giving. I placed a whole bunch of micro containers inside - there’s a log sheet installed in some of them. I would encourage each person that finds the cache to take a micro and hide it according to the guidelines on geocaching.com. If you are visiting the Charlotte area, take a micro to hide in your hometown. There’s still a lot of places in our area that need a cache, so take one and have fun hiding it! There is also a bunch of kid-friendly swag in there too, so trade all you want. Travel bugs and geocoins are certainly welcome as well. Note the parking coordinates below; use #1 if you’re in a hurry; use #2 if you have time to stroll the greenway. Good luck with your search and enjoy the Perpetual Firebox.
