Geocache Description:

Please park at the recommended parking [^] - the lane to the cache gives access to properties and it is difficult to do a three point turn [:(]. The cache is set on a public footpath and is only a short leg strech away. It is one of our small micros so please take a pen/pencil, thanks.

The owners of the property do know about the cache, but won't go near it!!
Once you have found the cache it should remind you older cachers of a famous five piece group, who sang a nice song called (visit link) (visit link)

Viewpoint from Gwaenysgor, from the carpark.
(by, Irish Sea View cache)

You can see all of Prestatyn and most of the other towns and villages as far as Llandudno in one direction and Mostyn in the other. You can see all the coastline and, on a clear day, you can see Wales' highest mountain Snowdown to the west and Liverpool to the east even Blackpool.
It's very spectacular and is also good at night.
To get there, go to the top of Prestatyn High Street, then go straight ahead via a dog leg on to Ffrod Las. Take a right at the top of this road, then first left. You will then begin your snaking ascent up Gwaenysgor Hill. NB it is steep and not for the faint hearted .
The carpark (viewpoint) will be on your right and will be pretty obvious.
The beach is one of the better ones in the immediate area. It's long, flat and safe. The sand dunes are particularly nice, but access to them is restricted due to restoration efforts. There's a promenade that goes all the way to Rhyl Harbour, about five miles, which makes a nice stroll or bike ride.

Rhuddlan castle, 5 minutes by car is worth a visit. Dyserth waterfall is too with the same travel times in a different direction. These locations have caches nearby.

Inspired by Motorway Mayhems and A-Road Anarchys, taking you off the beaten track via B-roads into "Vexatious Villages". This follows a similar vein so will be fairly easy for those who have found some of the aforementioned series and a challenge if you haven't.
A leg stretch on the edge of a by-passed village.
